The winner of this competition will be eligible to apply for the Kevin Fitzpatrick €5,000 Bursary.
The Bursary will be administered by the Feis Ceoil office and there are two options available to the winner in respect of drawing down funds:
The Bursary will be administered by the Feis Ceoil office and there are two options available to the winner in respect of drawing down funds:
1) If the Bursary is required for the purchase of a guitar, the full €5,000 may be drawn down on submission of proof of purchase.
2) If the Bursary is required for further education and musical development, it will be made available in two moieties of €2,500 over two years. Examples of eligible expenses are: tuition fees, master class attendance fees and associated expenses. (Other expenses may be permitted but must first be agreed with the Feis Ceoil office).
NB: Please ensure that all own choice pieces are submitted at time of entry, as no change of repertoire will be allowed after competition entry deadline.
