Competition: For Junior String Concerto. Presented by her family. Open to Violin, Violoncello, Viola, Double Bass, Guitar,Concert Harp. Age Limits: Violin, Violoncello - 12 to under 17. Viola, Double Bass, Harp and Guitar - 12 to under 18.

1st Prize: Trophy and Gold Medal & €250 presented by the Glasgow family.

2nd Prize: Silver Medal

Test Pieces 2024

One movement from a concerto of own choice. Movement must be specified on entry form.

Orchestral Part to be played on piano. Pianist must be provided by the competitor.

Please note that the highest placed violinist in this competition will be eligible to apply for The Power Fine Violins Prize. See here for details.

 

NB: Please ensure that all own choice pieces are submitted at time of entry, as no change of repertoire will be allowed after competition entry deadline.
